We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, measurements, specifications, colours, availability and prices are accurate.
However:
Colours may appear differently depending on your screen or device
Measurements may be approximate unless stated otherwise
Packaging may differ from photographs
Minor product details may change without affecting the product’s essential function
Natural materials may have reasonable variations in colour, grain or texture
Customers should review all product dimensions, specifications and suitability information before ordering.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights if a product is faulty, not as described or unfit for its intended purpose.
5. Product Suitability and Installation
Before purchasing a shed or other large product, you are responsible for checking:
The product dimensions
Available space at the property
Delivery access
Ground and base requirements
Assembly requirements
Local planning or property restrictions
Whether the product is suitable for its intended use
Unless expressly included in the product description, assembly, installation, base preparation and removal of packaging are not included.
Products must be assembled and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Damage caused by incorrect assembly, unsuitable foundations, unauthorised alterations, misuse or failure to follow care instructions is not considered a manufacturing fault.
This does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty products.
6. Prices
All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include applicable taxes unless clearly stated otherwise.
Any delivery charge will be displayed during checkout before payment is completed. You will have an opportunity to review the complete order total before confirming your purchase.
Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect an order that we have already accepted.
If a product is listed with an obvious pricing or technical error, we may cancel the order before dispatch. If payment has already been taken, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
7. Payment
Payment must be completed using one of the methods displayed at checkout.
By submitting payment details, you confirm that:
The information provided is accurate
You are authorised to use the payment method
Sufficient funds are available to complete the transaction
Payments may be processed securely by third-party payment providers. We do not normally receive or store complete card details.
We may delay or cancel an order if payment cannot be authorised or if additional verification is reasonably required to prevent fraud.
8. Placing an Order
After placing an order, you should receive an acknowledgement email containing your order details.
This acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order, but it does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
A contract is formed when we confirm that your order has been accepted or dispatched. We reserve the right to decline an order before acceptance for reasons including:
Payment authorisation failure
Suspected fraud
Incorrect product or pricing information
Product unavailability
Delivery restrictions
An error in the information supplied by the customer
If we cannot accept an order after taking payment, we will cancel it and issue a full refund.
9. Product Availability
All orders are subject to product availability.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact you and offer an appropriate option, such as:
Waiting for the product to become available
Selecting an alternative product, with your agreement
Cancelling the unavailable item
Receiving a full refund for the unavailable item
We will not substitute a product without your agreement.
10. Order Changes
If you need to change your order, delivery address or contact details, contact us as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to process the requested change, but we cannot guarantee changes after an order has entered processing or been dispatched.

Our standard estimated times are:
Order processing: 1–3 business days

Complete delivery terms are available in our Shipping and Delivery Policy.
12. Risk and Ownership
Responsibility for the product passes to you when it is delivered to you or to a person identified by you to receive it.
Ownership of the product passes to you once we have received payment in full and delivery has been completed.
Please inspect the order promptly after delivery and report any damage, missing components or incorrect products as soon as reasonably possible.

You may request cancellation before dispatch by contacting support@goldsheds.com.
If the order has not entered dispatch, we will cancel it and issue a full refund.
If the order has already been dispatched, you may need to receive it and follow the return procedure. Applicable return or collection costs may apply unless the product is faulty or incorrectly supplied.
14. Right to Cancel an Online Purchase
Under UK consumer law, you may normally cancel an eligible online purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, without providing a reason.
You must notify us of your decision to cancel within this 14-day period. After notifying us, you must return the product within a further 14 days.
The cancellation right may not apply to:
Bespoke products
Personalised products
Products made to your specifications
Products that are otherwise legally exempt from cancellation rights
Your statutory rights remain unaffected where a product is faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied.

Complete requirements are available in our Refund and Returns Policy.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method.
For eligible online cancellations, refunds will be processed within 14 days of:
Receiving the returned product; or
Receiving satisfactory evidence that the product has been returned
Where applicable, we will refund the cost of standard outbound delivery. Any additional amount paid for express or upgraded delivery is not refundable beyond the cost of standard delivery.
Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to display the refund.

Products supplied by Gold Sheds must be:
Of satisfactory quality
Fit for their intended purpose

Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may provide:
Replacement parts
A repair
A replacement product
Collection of the product
A price reduction
A full or partial refund
Where the product is confirmed as faulty or incorrectly supplied, we will cover reasonable return or collection costs.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer-protection law.
18. Warranty and Product Care
Any manufacturer or commercial warranty offered with a product will be described on the product page or supplied with the product.
A warranty does not normally cover:
Normal wear and tear
Accidental or deliberate damage
Improper assembly or installation
Use on an unsuitable base
Unauthorised repairs or modifications
Neglect or misuse
Failure to follow maintenance instructions
Damage caused by extreme weather where reasonable precautions were not taken
Commercial warranties are provided in addition to, and do not replace, your statutory consumer rights.

It reflects your genuine experience
It is accurate to the best of your knowledge
You have the right to submit it
It does not contain unlawful, abusive, defamatory or misleading material
It does not infringe another person’s rights
We may moderate or remove content that violates these requirements. We will not edit a review in a way that materially changes the customer’s genuine opinion.

23. Our Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Breach of your statutory consumer rights
Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for business losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue or loss of commercial opportunity arising from a purchase made for personal use.
24. Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, transport disruption, industrial action, natural disasters, public emergencies, supplier disruption or courier network failures.
If such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and keep you informed where possible.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
